I have 4 of those. Utterly useless. On for 10-30 sec then you are in the dark. It doesn't always turn on. I have to flap my arm up and down like a lunatic to activate the lights.

You realize what these are used for? Not lighting up your yard but to turn on if someone walks by them in your yard or front of house. I use one that turns on when we come home at night. When I walk up to the door it lights up nice and bright so I can unlock the door...that takes seconds then shuts off. If you want a light for your animals get one with a switch. i have yet had to wave my arms like a lunatic to activate them. just come within 10 ft and they turn on. These are hardly useless more like the person who doesn't know what they are for.

This appears to be one of those "30 seconds and then automatically off" versions. IMHO after owning both styles, 30 seconds just isn't enough to do much (guide someone across a dark driveway, for example).

I wish it had the option to turn on at dusk and just stay lit until the battery dies. And also to extend the interval for people using it strictly for security. These seem like simple options, but not many lights seem to have them.
