I am newer to wine but a quick search shows
http://www.winespectat
And it makes me laugh a bit. Basically just pouring wine into a 'glass' is airation. One of the pics for this state at 750ml you get 'maximum' airation because the wines surface to air is the greatest. If you wait to long it will go 'flat' according to the link i posted.
Anyway my search on decanter states they should have a stopper. This is more of a carafe that's touted as an airator because of the shape allowing 'maximum' airation at 25ml.
This product is pretty but you would get the same effect with a bowl and it seems funny to me. There are decanters with actual stoppers making them actual decanters. There are other products that make the wine take a complex path and fall through air to airate. Than there is this pretty glass bowl with a spout.
The question is 1200ml or 1800ml.
