Needed a cheap-ish 2nd monitor for my MacBook so I got the LG monitor with USB-C. Would have been perfect if it were 1440p but the price it right.

The LG may not have Freesync - can't really find a definitive spec? AMD shows it as Yes (with DP and HDMI)

yeah just fyi, even the linked buydig website doesnt mention freesync for the LG monitor.

Question: I'm interested in the LG. My desktop PC has a Gigabyte GTX1060 card. The video card has an available Display Port. I want a full resolution at 75Hz. I believe, for this monitor, using the HDMI port on it is not an option.

Is there a proper cable to connect from the GTX1060 DP to the monitor's USB-C port?
