Bear in mind that the precision of the scale only goes down to 1g. Generally if you're using a scale for coffee, you want it to have 0.1g precision.

If you are making pour over coffee via Chemex, Hario, etc, you will need to use a scale to incrementally increase the water volume/total weight for approx 3min. This scale has an auto shutoff at 45sec so the tare would reset and you would lose the current weight, essentially making it useless for pour over brewing. Also, when vendors can't spell proper English for their own item descriptions on Amazon it makes me weary of the quality: "There is one or two blue film on the scale, and please tare it off when you receive it. 1 Year Warrant, Please contact with us directly". I understand having budget products, but c'mon man!

Doesn't get precise enough for my needs, but good find. The look you get at a store when you ask if they have any digital scales that go down to 1/10g.
