This is one of the best gaming monitors out there. Any issues with it should be able to be identified within the first 90 days (length of the limited warranty).

Just a heads up, refurbished monitors only have a 90 day warranty. The new ones carry a 3 year one. In my opinion it's better to get a new one for the warranty, even if it's a couple hundred more. Still a good deal if you don't kind the warranty... Or lack there of.

Tempting, but these were new with 3-year warranty for $900 shipped from Newegg via eBay a few months ago so I'd need a bigger discount to make up for the lesser warranty on this.

Does anyone know what happened to the 35" UWQHD @ 200 Hz (GSync) that Acer and Asus announced last May? That's been a long, long time coming to market.

Panels aren't being manufactured til Q2 so don't expect them til Q3-Q4 this year and around $2k.

If the monitor is defective and has very high BLB, then just return it. You have 30 days to return it for a full refund, and return shipping is free. You should really know if the monitor has any dead pixels, high BLB, OC issues, or any other problem within the first few days. Those kind of problems rarely just "pop up" after a few months or even years.

3 year warranty is nice, but on these types of monitors the most common thing that breaks is the motherboard, which you can replace for a couple hundred dollars from a local repair shop, or replace it yourself if you have the right tools. I know because my Acer Predator XB271 died on me and it was a refurb, so I had to get the motherboard replaced and it cost $175 including parts & labor.
