I am NOT a huge fan of quartz powered watches, being a mechanical watch aficionado.
But I must confess that Timex has been putting out some very handsome analog designs these past few years. Those are some very attractive field style watches to my eye. And as far as dial illumination technology goes, I admit the best lume on my Seikos cannot hold a candle to that slick Indiglo tech that Timex has. I particularly like that its activation is unobtrusively built into the traditional watch crown, so it doesn't ruin the clean, elegant lines of these watches. No fussy and unnecessary ancillary buttons and pushers.
Not my personal cup of tea, but consider me at least one horological-minded watch snob who thinks Timex is doing some really interesting things with their mass market time pieces.
