With 100% noon full sun, it might throw water 4"/10cm high if you have the narrow nozzle on it.
I was hoping to use it to add some air to a little pool where frogs lay their eggs.
Any shading of ANY part of the solar disc (your hand a cloud, ANYTHING) shuts it off, and it takes about 10seconds to start "spraying again". The motor/impeller also has no screen so you have to make your own, it also doesn't stay up right. This is utter crud. Sadly.
I even tried it in the driveway in tupperware, the the doesn't throw water! It can barely manage to "pump" up the 2"/3cm vertical piping, let alone spray anything.
