Yeah I figured the same..if you're just buying tires and you don't have their CC best you can do is $100 rebate. I was gonna do this but I'l stick with the Costco promotion.

Is it worth getting the card if I live in CA to save some $$$. I'm planning to participate to buy from them when I need tire during every sales ?

I don't get how save maximum of $100 per set of tires and using DD credit card and save additional $60 gets me $320 when it's $160

any help ?

Yes.
I did so, long ago, and use it every time I buy from them.
With 5 cars, that's pretty often.
Rebates are all online, pretty painless, and very reliable.

$100 for tires + $60 w/CC for tires = $160 max for tires
$100 for wheels + $60 w/CC for wheels = $160 max for wheels

$160 for tires + $160 for wheels = $320 max of you buy wheels and tires.

Note that if just buying wheels, you have to pay to have them installed.
