Thought this might be helpful... 2 minute breakdown of the differences between the NEX 1300, 1330, 2300, 2330.

13xx = 6.2" screen with volume knob, no Android Auto, yes Apple Carplay
23xx = 7" screen with no physical volume knob, yes Android Auto, Yes Apple Carplay

xx00 = no HD radio
xx30 = yes HD radio

Important for me because I want to upgrade my truck's 6 year old Kenwood eXcelon head to one with Android Auto, but I want to keep the HD radio- and I have a 2330 I bought last year that I haven't installed into my wife's new car yet. $250 is a good price for this, but no HD radio. Frown

You could check on Crutchfield. Enter your vehicle details and then look up the AVH-2330NEX (Same radio, just has HD radio and the ability to add a front facing camera).


Chances are you can buy a dash kit for any vehicle that would work with this vehicle. If I'm able to add it to my 14 Ford Focus, then you can add it to anything.

The only thing that sucks about that, if it's the same as my last pioneer radio, is that the USB extender will be run through the glovebox, so that's where you'll have to plug your phone in to use it. It's a minor complaint, but I wish I could just plug my phone in to one of my cars USB slots and still use CarPlay.

Is HD Radio just AM/FM? I know nothing about it, which is probably why I didn't care much that it isn't included. I just plan on using CarPlay, Spotify, Bluetoooth, the CD/DVD Drive, and AM/FM radio from time to time.

Those adapter kits are really expensive, more than this unit. And the installation seems complicated. Not sure its worth the hassle.
