Pro controller is wireless... There is a Nintendo branded controller that's wired, but it comes in much cheaper than the pro
It's like when an inflated priced item stops being inflated, it's seen as a deal.
With that said I am aware of the fact that you can't find these for cheaper anywhere else atm.
