Very good air pump if you only need to pump 1-2 aquariums. Why? Because it's actually pretty quiet. Downside: only one output so you'll need a valve for multiple connections.

Love this pump. It is very quiet compared to the other brand pumps that output similar air this size.

I bought this last month for 40$ so definitely great deal at this price. I'm using this to power 9 sponge filters and it works great.

Berry could you recommend any good online resources for a smallish tank setup - filter, heater, etc? 10-15 tetras, nothing crazy.

Thanks OP, it's unbelievable how timely it is - I was just about to look for a better pump for my 65g updated setup and here I see this deal! $38 at some other stores, so for $27 it seems to be really good.

I plan on using 2 consecutive JW AccuAir 4-outlet gang valves with it - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CQ69I8/ - at least until they break (just watch out, they are normally $2.99 on Amazon, but went up recently - you may be better off with other stores, e.g. http://www.kensfish.com/aquarium-...valve.html, especially if you can buy enough to qualify for f/s)

You can, but it is overkill. If you're just going to run a single airstone or sponge filter a smaller one would be better. You can always dial this one down but most likely isn't worth doing as it is larger, louder, and requires additional equipment to accommodate the smaller tank. what are you stocking?
