Speaking of dd, she works for a high end designer store in the upscale part of downtown here. Last night, someone went down the entire street and put super glue in the locks of all the stores. This morning no one could open until the locksmith's arrived. They hit about 70 stores.

Thieves/vandals are on the rampage. People can't afford to pay their bills let alone buy holiday presents for the kids. Everyone be careful in parking lots and be on the lookout. Seriously, this is going to be a bad year for it.

My battery coupon did not scan, but she entered in the code - and the dollar came off. Luckily I only had two. Anyone else's not scanning?
Then I stupidly gave her my glade coupons in the wrong order. I did $2 off then b1g1. The last b1g1 said item not here, but she k1'd it
They still had TONS of the 5.98 DVDs, we picked up august rush.
Can't wait until school starts back up so I can go without my son, he is too much of a distraction for me

I was SO the windshield today...Penney's, WalMart, Best Buy and Target, plus Kmart for good measure (and a forgotten HDMI cable---plus some Tidy Cats and Hot Wheels). Left home at 3:30 and home by 9 with a literal van-full of plunder.
OOP was $22X, which included a Sony Blu-Ray DVD player (at BB for $199), a dozen Blu Ray movies, clothes for the kids, assorted Wii games for oldest DS's Christmas, a Samsung digital camera at WM, the Kodak digital frame at Target...and a bunch of other stuff (including our friend Glade!!!). All stores were so busy that the cashiers could do nothing but scan---and the people behind me in line during my first Target run were absolutely SPEECHLESS (well, not really, as they kept commenting to everyone around them---which was a lot of people---about my dwindling total).
Thanks to everyone here at SD who has held my hand and guided me toward the most awesome deals, and thanks to the retailers for their "cooperation" on what initially looked like a pretty sparse Black Friday but turned into quite the shopping coup!!!
