When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! I put my tree up yesterday. Then I put on the lights and they looked like crap because the top string didn't match the bottom (the bottoms were 2 toned) I went to walmart and target trying to find more of the 2 tone but no luck. So now I have to take all the lights down and buy new lights which I really dont WANT to do. Frown

I used a different printer than usual (I wasnt at home) I also printed out 8 TGIF's while I was there so I'm guessing all of those coupons wont scan. I was just trying to save myself some inkRoll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Good Morning Target peeps! Rainy day here. Having some hot coffee and planning my attack for today. Yesterday, not such a good day shake head The only store I went to was Target on the way home from work.

Loving the Rayovac q heart They have alkaline ones in the dollar spot too.

Picked up a couple Disney movies, and of course Glade heart

Picked my favorite cashier, as soon as she scanned the glade q, she looks at the screen and sets the q off to the side. She then gets to another 'q' I have, scanned it and flipped on the light :Teriissweatingbulletsbythistime: LOD comes over, takes the q flips it over, tells the cashier it's fine :whew: then the cashier shows her the glade q and adjust them down. Sooo, I had a good enough run, but not as good as it 'could' have been. I'm not complaining though, they were very nice, as always. Out today to buy some more Glade and batteries.

Looks like everyone did great yesterday. INAA, thanks for picking up my things. What did you get for yourself? Oh, and thanks for the lotion post. I'll spend the better part of my day trying to erase it out of my head LMAO

Anyone decorating this weekend? I'm afraid to open my gift closet. If you don't hear from me for a few days, send the rescue team. I'll be buried under the avalanche.

ETA: Checking my mail yesterday was better than shopping BF. My box was full of envies Whee Thanks Sungoddess, Stormy, Soccergal heart heart you made my day!
you had to work??? aww well i hope you at least had an easy day...

I don't mind decorating, I just hate taking it all down after the holidays. I may use the tree I got at Target last year for a buck on 90%, then throw it away after Christmas. Every year I say I'm not putting up a tree. I want to put a small tree in my bay window, but then everyone throws a fit, sooo...I make cocoa, bring out the lights and ornaments, get ready for an evening of family time.....next thing I know, everyone's gone and I'm putting the darned thing up by myself Annoyed
Iagree Same thing happens here. Then they sit back, squint their eyes and say, "you missed a spot" with the lights! Cool Actually, my son helps put the tree up, I put the lights on, and we both put on our own ornaments together. I buy each of us an ornament every year that signifies something that happened during the year or something that we were interested in that year. Last year he got a fish ornament because he spent all his spare time fishing during the summer. I got a little van ornament, because I spent most of my time driving to all their events! My other son got a picture ornament with him playing soccer. Happy holidays everyone!!

First time in a while I've had to work BF. It's all good though, I have Monday off. It was slow, so I had a chance to play catch up on continuing ed. classes I was behind on. Now I wont get the dreaded 'do your courses' emails anymore from my bossbounce

I had a grat day shopping..spent more than I ever have on BF. DD is really getting into clothes. Sad days for me. I spend more on clothes than the DSlite, didital camera and printer combined. But those were almost freebies. Smilie

Glad the extended family is gone. Can't get motivated enough to put the last two trees up. Already put up 6. ( I LOOOVVEE Christmas!)

Yes, decorating and cleaning-- still trying to get the house recovered from our trip Embarrassment plus now all the junk I bought yesterday is spread all over. . . all except for the stuff I still haven't brought inside from the car. EEK!

So I have to share with you all what DH did for me yesterday. I was like Faint

After I came home from shopping (like 8:30) and he eventually got up (10:00) we finally left around 10:30 and went to Game Stop (he didn't find anything he wanted), the ATT store (got new phones, still trying to get used to them), and Borders so I could spend my AmEx spring fling cards before they expire (just bought GC since I couldn't decide). We had lunch and then he said he wanted to go to a local electronics store that's nearby. I wasn't really sure why, but we did it anyway. He was looking at home theater systems since ours is messed up. He found one he kinda liked but it didn't come with a DVD player and the sales guy said "Oh, we had the Sony BluRay on sale this morning for $149 but they are all gone now." Plus it was just after 1 and the sale was over. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) So DH was acting all annoyed as we left-- and I really didn't know why b/c he never cares about stuff like that (like missing a good sale).

So we go home and he says he's going in to the office to work for a while and after he leaves I lay down and take a nap. At some point he comes home but I'm still mostly asleep and then after about another hour I finally came out of the bedroom. So I'm sitting in the living room, still 1/2 asleep and he starts hemming and hawing like he has something to say but doesn't know how to say it. Basically he finally comes out with it: he wanted to get me a present for "taking care of his son." Smilie So he lugs out these two huge boxes. While I was asleep, instead of going to the office, he went to Circuit City, and bought a Sony Bravia Home theater system, AND got them to PM BB's price on the Sony BluRay player. AND apparently he's been planning this for months b/c he said he's been saving up bits of cash whenever he could so I wouldn't know how much it cost. (I pay all the bills.) Big Grin I'm seriously in shock still that he would not only do all of that but actually do the work to get a good deal on it. Faint

Every once in a while it's good to remember why I keep him around. Smilie

laugh out loud Obviously it's for both of us. But I actually teach and write about film IRL, so I "need" the high tech stuff, while he just "wants" it. Smilie

And he said he thought it would be nice for me to have this now since I won't be able to move around much soon. laugh out loud

Rofl2 I bought the $69 Samsung 10 MP digital camera and the $249 JVC Everio camcorder from WM yesterday, online at 1 AM . Had to pay $15 shipping but totally worth it to me. . . even before I read about all the horror stories that happened at WM yesterday. Frown
