This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

This cat talk is depressing me...just found out today through skin testing that my daughter is allergic to cats. I've had my tabby for 5 years and she's the sweetest cat...now I have to find a home for her. Crying

Ok I am back, tried on my dress at Target, and loved it! But they didnt have it in my size (you know not a sz 3 lol) in the color I wanted - Violet.

Here it is:

Cute dress! I mean wear jeans in a size 3 or 5, but when it comes to dresses I wear a size 9 at least, especially Target dresses. I don't know why the huge difference in size. Confused If I bought the dress you linked I would buy the medium and maybe even the large!

I tried a dress very similar to this one on in the store, except the one in the store had sleeves. I loved it when I saw it and almost bought a 7 without trying it on. Good thing I didn't!

http://www.target.com/Juniors-Xhi...rh=&page=1

There was no way I could fit the 7, the 9 still gapped at the chest (the one I saw had a button up front), and the 11 finally fit in the chest and the bottom was to big. I guess that is why I don't have many dresses unless they are just stretchy all the way down. I'm not sure where to look for a holiday dress, I may have to wear my black two piece suit with a fancy blouse.

I think it depends on the brand you are buying. My dd used to wear a 00 in AF Jeans. She was really more of a 5. They do it as a marketing tool.

Yeah I know what you mean. However I have never worn a 0 or 1 in any jean even AF (which run big) in my whole life, but my eldest daughter who is now more of a size 7 did. Even when she was bigger than me, she could wear a 1, which for the love of God I could never ever get into. Even if a 3 was to big, the 1 would never fit comfortably and I would have to pass on the jeans or get the bigger size.

She had a slightly smaller waist than me, and it makes a big difference. We used to buy jeans at Pacsun, and she could always wear the 0 and 1's, but I weighed less and always had to buy at least a 3. A inch of difference in measurements changes the way clothing fits for sure.

I guess I inherited the family gut! Frown
