This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

What was your total when she scanned it? It wont include tax here... so the price BEFORE tax has to be over $15.. I used 3 of these at 3 stores yesterday
It was $28 or so I think...back to buying more zoopals I guess. I was trying to wait until Arthur leaves. How many packages of silverware can one really stock up on? We opened one pack and run it through the dishwasher so my other 6 boxes just sit there unopened. I wish T carried the bowls!

I need some white elephant gift ideas. Price limit is $10. It's DH's staff party; I don't think he'd appreciate me donating a gift basket of shampoo and toothpaste or Glade or wallflowers. Anybody have any other ideas to help me? Please? It's for teachers, so no mugs (LOL) and most are older and have older children.

Why not Glade? Last year for Christmas at work, I brought in the Glade Flameless candles for the gift exchange. Every one knew I got them for free, but they fought over them and stole them from each other! Hmmm, I still have some, maybe I'll do that again!
Or, how about a gift basket full of baked goodies, or mixes? You could then throw in a package of the the silverwear as well!

For those that remember my cookie dough blunder last week (I left cookie dough I bought at T out for 3 days... then cooked it. Tasted fine! Gooooo preservatives!), did the same thing with some Omaha Steaks last night... hope they taste good tonight Wink If not, they were free from a Maserati test drive anyways Whee
Good luck, you are brave. DD was looking through the freezer for some chicken nuggets and somehow a bag of $8+ Tyson chicken breasts were left on the floor under the table by the freezer. It was overnight and later the next day before I found them. Didn't dare to do anything other than toss them. Only two more bags left. Frown

Has anyone else noticed with their children that when they hit their second birthday, its like a switch comes on? My daughter turned 2 yesterday, and since then, she seriously has seemed to have matured and is just amazing us with what she is coming up with! Mind you, she is a very talkative little girl anyway, and VERY smart for her age, but she has just been leaving us in stitches. Maybe its just the attention... Smilie
My DD was deep in thought the other day and she said "Sometimes I do what I want, sometimes I do what I don't want, and sometimes I do what I already did." It was so cute and very true, for all of us actually.

Something similar happened to me a few hours ago. My coupons took off the price of the refills, rather than what I thought would happen...
I was using the coupons for the scented oil refills and I also purchased a vanilla flameless candle.

Anybody else see this? I was confused.
It happened to me twice. I was sure I gave everything in the right order both times too. ???

That's a really good idea. Not even just silverware - cups/plates/napkins too even. Kind of a winter picnic basket Wink

How about things to go in the mugs that all teachers have like the free lipton tea/AF coffee if you could find it/even cheap cocoa packets? Put those things together in a basket along with some bliss... yummy

Rofl2 Just think, if I get sprayed before I go to Target, I will be able to slide through the checkout process. LMAO They won't want to hold me up for coupon usage.
