This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I hear ya!! We have a giant sleigh bed that's high off the ground. I have to point my feet towards the ground and then slide on my butt down off the edge in order to get out of bed. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

sky n sam and lovemychaos-

Thanks for the article and the comments. Yeah, they are definitely more costly to the non couponer. I like their clothing better and I will shop at Target over walmart any day. I cannot stand walmart and unless I am getting something FREE I will not go in there. How sad

Rise & fall of Target [startribune.com]
In todays Mlps. Star & Tribune
some of the comments are interesting
I read this statement at the end:

Wal-Mart and its rock-bottom prices have been a magnet for tightfisted consumers who don't want to pay even pennies more for a tube of toothpaste.

And thought to myself, well Target is a magnet for SD'ers who don't want to pay even pennies for a tube of toothpaste! Teehee Evillaugh

The majority of the population do not use coupons so they do think Walmart is less expensive. I would bet most have never thought it possible you could be paid for buying product.

Stormy so glad you little one is feeling better, how scary! I remember rushing both DD's to ER in the middle of the night with fevers going up past 106! Nothing worse than that kind of fear, worry, stress about the little ones.

Thrifty that Glade sold for $1 each and you made enough for three tickets Bigeye that must have been a mountain of Glad-ay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, you have me beat! I won't complain that's it's only 16 here now and I'm freezing! Sure is pretty outside though, but I hate icy roads. Good thing I pass a WAGS on the way home from the inlaws. Will have to get in one shopping trip on the way home tonight...LOL!

It took me 3 hours but my envie is ready. I have not been to ST in at least 6 weeks. Bigeye My list is pretty extensive. Pray that I am the windshield, 'cuz I hate bugs and don't want the last thing to go through my head to be my a$$. I really feel the need for a Xanax washed down with Kool-Aid. One would think after doing this for 3 years and SD'ing T for a year and a half I would be a little more relaxed. I know there will inevitably be an asshat in line behind me wave and Thumbup to that already.

Stress

Just wondering what people think about the Pink Dyson with the gc offer. Do you think it'll go on clearance after this deal? My silly Target store has the pink Brita but it's regular price. Did these go on clearance last year? Or do you think it would just be better to get it now with the gc offer.
