This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Weather here is a balmy 75 degrees (but feels like 86!). It's a little warm... I do wish we could get cooler temperatures! Big Grin

I am sad to see the glade deal go, but I am happy to get some rest from Target. Thanks to glade I got most all of my Christmas shopping done. I have 2 more runs planned for this afternoon...please oh please let my Jedi be there! She is awesome! I MIGHT even take a little drive to a few store I know still have a TON of plug ins. I like those because the $2 printable q's!!!

Anyway wishing everyone a great last day of gla-day and may you all have great jedi cashiers and be windshields!!

Also I went to a new Target (just opened a few months ago) for the 1st time and they would not take any printable coupons! Made me so sad because they had tons and tons of the plug ins. I am thinking I might print the q's on better paper and in color and give it a try again since it is on they way home from another Target I am planning on going to.

Sky & TargetMagic - your blizzard is on my side of the lake now!!!! Mad Take it back... Wink

Yes, it's snowy, with windchill around 5 degrees that making the roads very slippery.

Scratchhead Do I need to take out the invisible plane to hit ALL the Targets today for Glade deal? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Where are you, Sky? It's SO cold here today - windchill is 25 below zero! EEK! I have bus duty this week; looks like I'll be inside watching the kiddos. I have to do my last Target run tonight after school for Glade. I'm hoping I have a good cashier selection, and that there's some Glade left. I have to get my car to the body shop before 5:00 to get it fixed. That only gives me about an hour at Target. I so want to be a windshield today! Have fun everyone. Those in the midwest, try to stay warm on your Target runs!

Can someone tell me how they are getting cheap baby formula? Doesn't matter which brand. My friends grandbaby (baby now since her daughter doesnt want to be a mom at 19) has turned 1 and wants to keep giving him formula for the vitamins and nutrients. WIC has stopped. She wants to get enough to last for 3 more months. I only keep up with the diapers for her and never looked at formula deals. I will be greatly appreciative for any info..thanks

We are supposed to have high 70's all week, then colder next week for Christmas. I enjoy cooler weather, but I will take high 70's over -25 and blizzards any day. Had too many of those days in Alaska.

Since we're all being super-cool and talking about the weather Teehee, I'll say that it just started snowing here.

It's funny to watch all the outside cats freak out when the first flakes hit them. laugh out loud

It won't last, but it's pretty while it's coming down.

And I guess Target needs to have a new GC deal with lots of overage potential so we can find something else to discuss. Big Grin

IDK about feeding formula past 12mths....if she's looking to pump the baby w/ vitamins -- pediasure or boost would prollly do that better. & there are $5mfqs exp 12.31 out there, close to free at T & K

edit: I'm wearing shorts & a tank right now too!

Totally OT here but I saw a thread yesterday about McDonalds stocking stuffer coupon books. Supposedly they are $1 and you get 12 coupons for small free items. My kids love to 'buy' their own stuff so I would love to get my hands on a few of these but I can't find them anywhere. Well, I did see them on ebay but they aren't cheap there!!! Does anyone know if this is regional or is it supposed to be nationwide? Anyone in the Jacksonville FL area remember if they have done this around here before? I called quite a few different MCD's and they acted like they had never heard of it.
Thanks!

I live in SoCal, but I am nice enough to not rub it in. BTW, it is rainy and *chilly* here. Coast will only get up to low 50's, inland will only get up to mid 40's today and they are calling for 30 degrees and snow in the mountains. So even in the land of paradise it is cold. Secret we pay big bucks for it to be sunny & 70, not worth it IMO! Mind you I was born and raised in the Midwest.
