I knew that suggestion would come up laugh out loud I really don't want to give her a target gift card. They have a 1 year old and she would probably use it on her. I have some nice travel bag gift sets from CVS last year (after christmas clearance) The black satin ones with neck pillow, body wash, etc..I think maybe that with some wisp, a yes to carrots body butter, some chocolates and a gc to barnes and noble.

Cloud9 We don't have a CVS and I am jealous! That sounds like the perfect gift basket to me.

If you "buy" a Target GC with the Whispies are you adding it to the beginning? Or what is the best way to do it?

Had an awesome run today! bounce The customer behind me was pissed though and demanded to know how I paid so little for "...all that stuff!" Cashier and I replied, "Coupons." She said she uses coupons too and it doesn't work like that for her! Embarrassment

I will miss the W-is-ps and refills... *sigh* Just when I started to get the hang of it. Big Grin (Could it feasibly still work? Just not as slick with the GC?) TIA!

Oh good! I will have to go out tomorrow and take a look around. : D Thanks!

Aw, very sweet of you to do! Congrats to your sister! hug
I wondered the same? what if the otto'ing continued...just without $5 GC...just thinking....

Wow you are super nice. What other threads do you follow that I have no idea how the deals work nor any desire to read? I like how you spelled that out. And nicely at that. You my friend are a much bigger person than I am. laugh out loud

On the same note...I'm really going to be sad to see Dec. 31st. That means the end of the TGIF and the Tyson coupon. I've gotten so much food with those! I'm really going to miss those. A few weeks to stock up!

Quote from Thrifty-n-SoCal :
They seriously let you roll it that many times. I would think they would look at me as if I had 3 heads if I said, I want to buy a $50 GC with this here $50 GC.

Nope, the GC grouping is the trick to that slick deal.
I would love to be able to roll giftcards like that, but I never have that good luck. I think they'd look at me, and say, "are you nuts? We're not giving you a GC for free!" I have to remember that grouping slick deal for the next time there's a giftcard. Pantene, Glade, what will be next?

Quote from carebearsluv :
A box full of glade? Coverlaugh
I'm giving a box of assorted Glade as a white elephant gift to a teacher at school. She has a pooper in her room, so she's always lighting candles and using plug ins! Big Grin I think I can help her out. Now if we could just get the kid to stop pooping in his pants. vomit

Hey Thrifty,
Just wanted to let you know that I used 2 more of the Jcpenney's $15 coupons today! Also there was somebody else there who had the same coupon, but the one without the email address on it. I was going to ask whether it was a slick deal, but decided not to.

Also about BBW, I had a $100 GC to begin with, so I just roll'd one of the $50 GC's. I think you questioned that earlier! I am pretty sure I could have roll'd another one, but I didn't want to push it. But I will be going back to get atleast another $15 promo GC.

The Lambie blankets are so soft, that now my 4 year-old and my 2 year-old want them (who am I kidding, I want them)

For BBW next time I go in, I'm going to buy a $50 GC, it prompts them for the Promo card and they have to scan it. Then I'll just pay $5 cash, and say " Oh crap, i forgot my money!" And just pay with one of my GC's.

I think that would totally work!

How far away does she live? Offer a night of free babysitting, give her a Fandango GC and a GC out to a decent restaurant. She will appreciate and remember that! Yes I read all of the other suggestions and thought those were all great and admit they were some ideas that first came to mind, but after studying so hard for so long I am sure a much deserved night out would be appreciated.

They live about 2.5 miles from me. Actually, that's a great idea! I can hit Kmart this week and get an Olive Garden GC to put in the basket instead of Barnes and Noble. Lord knows, I've got the Fandango GC's Whee And since it's my sisters kids, I'll let her babysitBig Grin

Anyone has the Robitussin Q that won't expire until the end of the year and beyond?

ETA: Found it! Thanks Stormy_cat for the help.

Those are great ideas. Since she's going to be on her feet all the time, maybe a GC for a pedicure? Or anything to help with that.

Where's Ariel when we need her? She should be able to come up with lots of useful suggestions.
