Anyway, I got home a few hours earlier than usual. Cleaned the kitchen wrapped presents, made some homemade Kaluha for gifts and me!!! My favorite Koolaid of all.
I made a couple of last minute runs last night and was so the windshield. Now I have all the GC to spend.
I want to make a BBW trip too, I think I need some of those blankets.

Anyway, I got home a few hours earlier than usual. Cleaned the kitchen wrapped presents, made some homemade Kaluha for gifts and me!!! My favorite Koolaid of all.

1 cup instant coffee
2 cups white sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 vanilla beans
Boil water. Add sugar and coffee and boil for 15 min.
Remove from heat. Cut beans in half and scrape insides add to mixture.
Cool and add to vodka. Pour into dark bottles (or store in a dark place) and add vanilla bean shells to the bottles....
Shake daily
Wait a couple of weeks and drink up!
This is all I drink now, add a little vodka and some milk....yummy!
I buy decanters at the thrift stores for a buck or two a piece and everyone looks forward to my gift!

Whats the deal with Goody? Why are ppl in the *other* thread making comments like "it worked for me"... is CIC claiming its fake???
If you are not a *snob* like me you can subsitute 2 tbs of vanilla extract for the beans and it would be alot cheaper to make. Sometimes I if I buy cheap vodka I run it through the Brita a few times...seems like it helps but maybe it is in my head.
Oh yeah and I wanted you to know that my daughter keeps asking me what that is on your avatar....
