I keep having to explain: the reason why we actually have $$ left in the checking account at the end of the month is BECAUSE I do all this.
To him, it's proof we don't "need" to do this any more and therefore I should stop.

We were supposed to leave last night for Christmas vacation but a blizzard is here! It is snowing so hard we can only see the houses accross the street then it is a white out!!! The snow piles are so high I don't know how we will get out of town, hopefully the snow plows are on overtime. It is not supposed to stop snowing until tomorrow either!
I guess I better finish packing maybe I can squeeze in a K run. I found those Norelco razors at K for $27.xx but I didn't have my $20 Q with me I think I only got one paper that weekend.
That may be the difference-- if he actually ever looked in our checking account and realized what a difference it made, he might "get it" more.

We are flying through Denver so please everyone think happy, "no snow" thoughts for us. I don't want to be stranded in the Denver airport on 24 December.

OK, I just checked the 10 day forecast on weather.com for us.
They are predicting snow showers for tomorrow, but nothing on Wed., or Thur. So hopefully we will be good.

We are flying on Christmas Day as our tickets were normal price versus 2-3 times higher for holiday travel. We did it 2 years ago. I really didn't mind it.
