I went to a young boy tonight that was really cool. I can give you a tip on cashiers if you ever go to the bridgeton t!
Acted like he scanned them, when he did not. I watch my screen. I told him give them back I will take them to customer service and get them scanned there. I know the Indian couple behind me thought I was cheap as hell, as my total was so low anyway. I could hear them gasping and whispering in line and after I left to go to customer service.
Then to top it off on the way to the service desk, looking at my receipt, I realized he hadn't scanned another of the glade coupons I gave him, but he had put them in his drawer. I went back and demanded it, and the Indian couple had a shocked look on their faces. Wth, why should he keep my unscanned coupon. I guess they were rich and above using coupons that the poor use.
Anyway I went to the service desk and got refunded on my coupons. On the way out I see the Indian couple looking at the cash in my hand and whispering and pointing. If I wanted to pay full price I wouldn't shop at Target so they can kiss my grits!

After all, almost everything you buy goes into your home, right? Unless it's something meant for the garage or something, and even then, if the garage is attached, I think the salient argument can be made that the garage is actually a part of your home also. Of course, lawn ornaments and patio furniture might be stretching it a bit, but if they would just word the coupon to read "homestead" instead of home, you'd have it made!
Granted, the electronics coupon would be harder to use as freely, but Target sells ALOT of things with cords and plugs...or that work on batteries.

This is true, but I just couldn't find anything to buy that night and was in a hurry. I had $35 in my cart and I should have just bought anything to bring my total to $50. Spent another $15 to save $10. Oh well my purchases were almost free anyway with my coupons that night. I will probably use this coupon tomorrow at one of the T's in the area.

I'm just really fed up with his family treating my daughter and step sons like second rate citizens and I'm really not sure how much I want to go out of my way this year. I'm just so frustrated I want to say screw it and say we only bought for the kids this year.
That's EXACTLY what I would do...tell them you just couldn't afford to buy for the adults this year (they'll understand, I'm sure), and leave it at that.
Or, give the adults shampoo and conditioner...heh heh. Or movie tickets...

Okay, I will post about my target run.
So if you have read this, I am sorry for being so long-winded! I do not really have any other Target's near my house. The next one is about 100ish miles away (depending on which route, its between 100-120 miles) and I cannot drive there that often. This one was just over an hour and was feasible to drive to during the week while DD was in school.

Didn't think of buying and returning. It's all good, I just bought some stocking stuffers and other junk I needed.
Do not settle for some lousy $3 apology coupons. Keep calling until you have spoken to someone at the top. That corporation owes you a huge apology and then some. If you have a lawyer, I'd even go as far as him writing a letter. Noone deserves to be spoken to like that over a damn coupon.
