I took DS to TRU yesterday to exchange a Transformer that he got as a gift - it even said, "TRU exclusive" and they wouldn't let me exchange it. You have to have a receipt there for any exchange or return!!!! I would have taken a gc at the lowest price that it had been sold at but nope, nothing!!! They wanted me to go back to the person who gave it to him and ask for a gift receipt. Is it just me, or is that kind of tacky? The person who gave it to him isn't family or even a close friend, it just seems strange to go to them and ask for a receipt. I'll probably end up just giving him money for it and then re-gifting it but I will never shop at TRU again (not like I ever did, way too expensive for me!)

Really, why all the fuss about 90%. Most of the good stuff is gone at 75%. If there's something to buy, it's at 50 or 75. I went to a non coupon friendly target earlier and they had a TON of clearance left, I couldn't beleive it. Nothing like what you guys are posting, no electrasol or food or any of that but I found a few racks of kids clothes (2 pairs of pj's for ds), tons of kitchen stuff, lots of lights and trees, etc. We aren't looking for a new tree but if we were that was the store to get it in. I did get some more lights. They had one of those phillips trees that was 350. Now THAT would be something to get at 90% if it's still there which is unlikely but who knows
