Last night Ryan (who is 22 months btw), told me he was pooping and needed a diaper change. He is the kind of kid who didnt care if he ever got his diaper changed. Anyway, since he told me he was going, I got out his potty that I bought for him awhile back. He was very very excited about it. So we let him sit on it last night to try it out and he was very happy about it.
Fast forward to this morning, 1st thing when he got up he asked to try and go pee pee in the potty. I tool his pj's and diaper off and he sat on it. After about 3 minutes he went pee pee! I am so excited! He was so excited.
I know it is early and I am in no way counting my chickens before they hatch, but this is a great sign. He has already asked to try again. He is really excited about the whole thing, and is quite proud of himself!
So we are off toTarget today to look at big boy underwear and get a small treat. We will try again in a little bit, when we get dressed for the day!
