This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.
All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

sky where are you when we need you
come, let us drink koolaid together
Last night I wondered the store aimlessly once I saw there were 2 cahsiers and line 1/2 way back the store. Ended up with 2 choxies and a skirt for DD.
sulking in the corner because I missed the FP logitech deal
come, let us drink koolaid together
Anywhoo I was just thinking about all my glade candles, I got rid off all those stinky red and green christmas refills, the receipients have been buring them in their offices at school, I think that means they liked them.
I kept the little candles in the glass cups with the snowflakes on them, got a bunch in vanilla and gingerbread. Man those things burn for a really really long time, like over 10 hours per candle, so I am thinking I am set for a couple of years on candles.
I love my dh so much ,he never once asked me why I was buying so many candles! Not even once ihas he commented on them.
Also he doesn't comment on the make-up I buy and don't wear, I send that to my mom and she shares with my two sister in laws. I missed my brothers wedding but I contributed because mom was able to put out a huge basket of unopened makeup in the dressing room for the bride and all her bride's mades, that was a huge hit, they couldn't believe the selection and that I paid nothing for any of it. Since mom lives in Cali and I live in Tx I mail her my freebie makeup everytime I have a box that needs to get to her, so every 3 months or so. It feels good to contribute to the larger family even though I am so far away.
Okay, thanks for letting me chatter away. I am down to 20 before we leave for school. Can't wait for dh's office to move and I can stay home 2-3 mornings instead of being up every day at such a horridly early hour.
I have been every day for over a week doing recon in my store. I don't hide things personally, but I know other people do. So I spent about 3 hours yesterday searching the store aisle by aisle. This morning when things went 90%, I was at the door 10 minutes prior to opening and went straight for the things that I knew where were. I was pulling some things out of an outdoor garbage can and the manager walked up behind me and told me that she was going to have to ask me to leave. WHAT??? She said that they had found several of the things that I had hidden and they had been watching me and my friends (other xxxxx... hey guys, you know who you are) and they knew what we were up to. She went on to tell me that she doesn't understand why when things are already 75% off that we feel that we need to hide them and get them even cheaper. She said that one of my friends said that she donates her stuff but the manager knows that she doesn't. Actually she does. Long story short... too late... I got my things this morning, but I was told that if I come back in the store, I will be arrested for trespass.

I used to be able to get at least 3 full carts of Christmas related items at 90% off! Now I consider myself lucky if I get half a cart @ 90%

As to the manager "knowing" that a shopper didn't donate purchases ---
Isn't it amazing that a T manager knows what their customers do with their purchases? Did they stalk the customer for days, weeks, whatever?
The BS that some of these managers come up with is unbelievable!
