Around Black Friday, these were occasionally sold for $170. This is the lowest for a Shield TV with controller that I recall seeing.

Good deal. Been debating between this and the Minix neo. Think I'd rather have access to the complete app store. can get the neo for $120 with same code on eBay btw.

I've seen it a little lower when people were buying it from Frys through Google Express, but you probably won't see it much lower than this for a while.

Rock solid device. Initially I only got this to play old games using emulators, but recently I've migrated all my TV viewing from fire TV to this. It also plays super nice with my Google home setup and nest camera.

Does this have DVR capability? That seems to be for me the one thing that is keeping me from switching from DirecTV to some Fire or Roku or this. I love being able to watch tv, skip forward and back etc shows on my own time. Thanks!

Yes, you can DVR OTA content if you add USB tuner. No monthly fees.
