To all those who are having app freeze on you while activating the offer:
If you're familiar with island app [google.com], you can use chase pay app inside island and it activated my offer instantly with zero problems.

Note: There are two types of freezing issues
1) when in chase app you click on activate offer, it takes you to the browser where you login to starbucks app and then it asks you to "click here to go back to chase pay and complete activation". And when you click, chase app doesn't open and freezes on black screen,
This issue got resolved using island app for me.
2) when in chase app you click on activate offer and it freezes. This issue doesn't seem to get resolved with island app.
If you're having an issue with Starbucks cashier inability to scan your Chase QR, have cashier tap the button at top of their scan device as if to capture your QR
If you are getting rooted or malware error. try removing any spoofing app that you may have or using island app [google.com]. Example - Fake GPS
