What you should have done (and could do in 30 days if you wish to reapply) is to simply apply as a "Sole Proprietor". From that point, pick a category/subcategory that makes sense for you, put minimal levels of income and years in business. I have gotten 3 Chase business cards doing exactly that (2 using my SSN, the 3rd with an EIN), as have a large number of other people - oddly enough, it is easier to get approved following those steps than for legitimate small business owners applying for their businesses.
One thing to know, the buyer protections granted to customers of non-business VISA cards may not come with the business card. You may want to check carefully before using this card for higher risk purchases.

Dont go to the mall
The automated phone is saying it is still under review where's I got a denial mail yesterday..it says visa signature card...do not what is going in
Congratulations! Are you still in SoCal? DM me.
Just realized that this card does not offer free transaction fee. I need to book a flight for my mom from India to the US costing $1250 or so with Emirates. A lot of airlines (Emirates included) charge the payment from the originating country and in the local currency. As a result, this will incur a 3% fee. I have other cards that allow free foreign transaction fee but hate to lose the opportunity to add up to the $3000 requirement. Any ideas or thoughts? Most Visa/MC gift cards seem to have a 3% charge anyways.

You can apply as sole proprietorship. Using your perspnal name as the business. Business category would be transportation service
Should be able to yeah- you can usually transfer credit limits between business cards (or between personal cards- just not between 1 biz and 1 personal)
Ok perfect thanks and repped
Applied as individuals category and used name for business name..

I called the automated system 2 days after I applied and was told I was approved and got the card 1 week later.
I had already started using my card and a couple days later chase emailed me saying I was approved.
Best to call in to find out your status.
