That said, I like this laptop a lot. I immediately installed a 250GB Samsung Evo NVMe and reinstalled Windows 10, (I use the 1TB drive for data) and it flies out of the gate. I love the aesthetic and how nice the aluminum feels. Again, it's a quad core with 8 logical cores, so it handles all CPU tasks with ease.
Negatives? It's a little heavy, but not bad. It has sharp edges which can make it uncomfortable to hold like a tablet. The drivers for the Vega8 aren't ready for primetime, but there are a lot of people working on that. Some have complained that the display is too dim, which it is a little, but it's fine to me. I don't intend on using it outdoors.
Overall, I'd buy it again. It's a great value, but I wouldn't probably pay over $600.
buy 3 gift cards and save an extra $30 making it $570 😁

Hell, even a smaller 80GB SSD would be better. External storage is cheap.

Can you tell me where I can find a list of these tweaks? I have this laptop but definitely feel like it could be better just not sure exactly what to do
Much different laptop, that one was larger because of the dedicated GPU. This is an ultrabook. Not apples to apples.
