Ditto transferring to Southwest and stacking with companion pass earned with 2 chase cards
It's excellent for it when combined with one of the premium Chase cards- in the above Southwest example for instance you'd be getting roughly 15% cash back on Freedom 5x spend if used toward Southwest airfare- versus only 5% "real" cash taking the Freedom rewards as statement credits.
You can do even better than 15% cash-back-equivalent toward airfare for some premium airfare options on other airlines, but unlike the Southwest one that does take more than 5 minutes. (though not always a lot more).
transferring to SW wont get you THE 'companion pass status', though right? lol
ive enough points stacked up in Freedom to easily pass 110k that it requires but i thought id ask (i didnt even know you can transfer to SW, thought it had to be thru Saphire).

No, transferred points dont count, he's talking about getting companion pass (i.e. by getting two cards) and stacking it with points from chase for flights
Hi. Serious question here. Outside of the point transfer to Southwest to maximize Chase points for domestic travel, is there any option to squeeze the Chase points for international travel? Planning a trip to Bali and not staying in a Hyatt.

Type in the airports you want to travel, and select the cabin, it will give you a list of airlines and their required mileage. Those with UR highlighted means you can transfer your UR points to them for redemption.
You don't get the 1.5 multiplier on chase freedom points do you?
So can you transfer Chase freedom points to southwest or chase sapphire? If not, this is a great deal
The annual fee of Chase Sapphire Preferred can be easily justified with the card opening bonus, so when people talk about high value redemption of UR points, they would typically assume that you are able to transfer them to airlines.

You can transfer to airlines with any "paid" chase card, and you can move all your freedom points over to a paid chase card for free.
You get the 1.5x in the portal with a CSR (which is included in the list of paid chase cards- and itself is profitable by a large amount of $ over the annual fee in its first year in addition to those other ways it makes your freedom points worth more too)

I travel, but not loyal to an airline (Southwest) and not enough to justify the cost of the Sapphire cards. Given the fact i use my PRG daily.
