Home Depot has Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Li-ion Cordless Super Combo Kit + 18-Volt ONE+ 4.0Ah Li-ion Battery Pack (P883-P108) on sale for $179. Shipping is free. Thanks hek5
Not a bad deal, but I think if I had to choose between this and the other Ryobi deal for $199, I'd choose the latter. It comes with the impact driver and multi tool. I do like that this deal includes the larger battery (which is especially useful for the power hungry circular saw and reciprocating saw), but the other deal does have two of the smaller battery, so you could keep one on the charger at all times. Also, the other deal comes with the rapid charger, this deal only has the regular charger.

Just FYI this is the budget kit with an extra large battery.
The 6 tool combo kit has a much better circ saw, sawzall, and drill with the bonus of their job-max base and the impact driver along with the better 2.0ah lithium+ batteries.
Not to say this isn't a good deal, just be aware of what you're buying. Cheers!
I bought this last week. The battery really makes this a deal. The $199 deal posted a few days ago, however, has more tools and overall better batteries and charger.
Anyone had experience with 3rd party 4Ah batteries on Amazon? I seen some as low as $35.
Not a fan, they don't have the protective components that work with the tools to sense temperature. The tools should shut off when it's too hot to protect both the tool and the battery. Also, the durability often isn't there, like rubber corners and higher quality wires.

I think most people don't realize that Ryobi has several tools that they make 2 versions of (a "good" and a "better"). The "better" tools are better.

How can someone tell? The home depot website specs show both circular saws having the same size and rpm. I just bought the 179$ deal yesterday but am considering exchanging it for the 6 tool set. Are the tools in both not the same apart from the additional impact driver, multitool, and battery charger?

They are not the same, specifically the sawzall and the drill. The specs will probably be listed as the same/similar, but the build quality is much different. There have been some comparison reviews on the sawzall and driver specifically and these aren't as capable. You can go into HD and feel the difference when handling the different items if your store has a full display.
I mean, for a home diyer that just needs this stuff to screw things to walls and cut off some branches and the occasional 2x4, then this set will be right you your alley and you'll probably never be left wanting.
But if you're thinking about getting into building things or have some projects lined up and you are wanting to purchase a starter set that will last you a bit before you upgrade to something better then you want the $199 set.
Ive had the $199 set for 4 years or so now and have added a few tools along the way but just upgraded to some Makita items. The Ryobi has treated me well, thus far, and I only upgraded due to a killer deal at my local HD, otherwise I'd have stuck with my ugly green tools.

I agree. That 4aH battery is quite impressive though. I have one that came with my Ryobi Miter Saw and I love it.

The "Better" tools are brushless.
