Illy has the Baratza Virtuoso electric burr grinder [illy.com] on sale for $184 after 20% off coupon MOM2018 (enter code in cart). This well-regarded coffee grinder [thewirecutter.com], which grinds consistently for pourovers, espresso, and other coffee nerd applications, usually retails for $230.

Additional information in a prior thread for an identical sale.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I respect your right to feel that this is silly, but I think you're missing the point. People value different hobbies and experiences, and this is a good deal on an objectively great grinder for people who really value coffee. I'm sure there's something in your life that costs more than many people would be willing to spend.

Also, the cost of a drip brewer isn't supposed to be very high. The brewer itself is about the least important thing behind the quality of the beans, the freshness of the beans, the grind, the temperature of the water, and the timing of the infusion. You don't need to spend a lot to make water drip slowly.
I've been using the Capresso Infinity conical burr grinder for about two year and have been happy. It's around $80.
You won't find better customer service than with this company. You will have this grinder for a long time as they stock replacement parts and offer great ship in service for maintenance.

Note: Not good for Espresso with not pressurized filter. Does not grind enough fine.

Does the 15% off for first time customers stack with this coupon?

Grinding your beans in a grinder that costs as much as a lease payment on a new Hyundai, then using it to make coffee with a $4 Melitta pourover cone is hipster AF.

That funny af, but seriously, can someone recommend the best value grinder on the market?

Need a consistent grind for use within a nice standard drip brew coffee maker. Really want something for longevity as the cheap ass $12 Walmart is awful.

?
first of all, don't use pressurized filter if you want good espresso.
second of all, why the heck does a grinder need Portafilter baskets and filters? those are part of the espresso device not grinder.
