Slick deals is not very helpful for people with GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome). I've bought so many guitars over the years chasing the perfect tone or thinking it would improve my playing...which it did not. The only thing that was really rewarding was practicing and enjoying the instrument I had at the time and becoming a better player. If we guitar players took half the time we spend researching, buying and selling and lusting for gear and put that time toward growing as a musician and expanding our skills we all would be happier in the end. That being said, in for 1!!!

Insane deal, but you really have to be onboard with the color scheme and SSS configuration. Love the color but I bought a used HSS Strat for more than this, and I'm super happy with the guitar. Really wanted the HSS configuration otherwise I would have jumped on one of these deals as they pop up a few times a year. If your looking at an SSS Strat and you've got the cash, this is a no brainer.

Really wanted the HSS configuration otherwise I would have jumped on one of these deals as they pop up a few times a year. If your looking at an SSS Strat and you've got the cash, this is a no brainer.

Need a maple fretboard too... have a rosewood MIM and been digging the maple ones I've played. Elite starts are very nice, but I want an elite tele too. I don't know what to get. Besides have a few amps I need to sell first.

You can always change the pick guard to hss at a site like stratosphere with the same electronics as the Elite

FYI..I picked this up for 1249 about a year ago with the maple fretboard...very nice neck/action and electronics...mine is a very heavy axe with a ASH body.
