Just saw the launch of the 970 series on tech blogs, went to check for student discount on their 1TB option. $340 AFAIK is quite good - comparable to the last FP deal for the 960 EVO 1TB.
You'll need to sign up for UNiDAYS student discount to see the deal.
Also includes a digital code to Far Cry 5: "Buy a qualifying Samsung SSD and receive a free digital code to download Far Cry 5 to your PC. Offer valid through 6/2. Limit of one code per customer per purchase."
I haven't posted many deals, so please be gentle!

I got a 250 gb 960 ssd and haven't opened it. Was planning on using only that for an ssd, since I noticed I don't use much space on my current HDD for programs. I'd be tempted to get a 500gb 970, if I could find someone to buy my 960 without me having to pay all the stupid ebay or amazon fees. Also, though, it seems risky to me to sell any computer parts, as an individual, since they'd whine to paypal asking for a refund if it didn't work after x amount of time, despite it being unopened.

Even on the Samsung website. The 960 evo is 450, the 970 evo is 400

edit: WD had the Black nvme out a while ago but its nowhere near the performance class as the new one. also, the new one that came out seems to have the same label. nice. that shouldnt confuse anyone, right? WDS256G1X0C is the 1st gen and WDS256G2X0C is the 2nd gen. the older one has a blue pcb while the new one has a black pcb.
