Fixing that and getting away from all of the horrible substance we ingest in the typical American diet would go a long ways in reducing the majority of sickness and disease that is so prevalent these days.
You're absolutely right man. People joke about a zombie apocalypse, but the majority of us are walking zombies because of our poor nutrition, sleep habits, and other aspects that we voluntarily do to ourselves.

So if 7 hours+ of sleep is good then more than that is even better, right? My sleep schedule is all effed up most times. So I either sleep far too little(and get cranky/irritable) or far too much. I will say one thing though, once I get to sleep the dreams I have had at times are more entertaining than 90% of the shit on TV nowadays.nod
Yes, more is better... not to the point where you cause atrophy though obviously. Even if you get 7 hours exactly, your sleep quality (tossing and turning, using the bathroom, and any other interruptions) may only be 80-90%... thus making your net sleep time closer to 6 hours. In order for the health regenerative processes to happen, we need at least 7+ quality hours of sleep. And for infants/toddlers, that number is much higher, like 12 hours. Studies are finding strong correlations between things like ADHD and lack of sleep in kids.

I'm just trying to regurgitate stuff I've heard listening to the audiobook so far, so may not be 100% correct... but even just the Joe Rogan interview with Matthew Walker is worth a listen if it's something that interests you.

It's a group of 200 plus diseases, we are all going to get it. Cancer cells form about age 14 & don't become clinical for a long time. Sex can spread HPV which causes cervical, anal, throat, penis cancer, so avoid loads of partners.

You mean at the same time, or in general?

Either way... Mad

Edit: or were you even referring to the numerical synonym by saying "loads". Confused

If you'll notice though, it's posted in The Lounge. This is a place for discussion and debauchery, with more of the latter and less of the former.

If she truly feels that way, your wife is an absolute angel.

I'm pretty sure she does, I feel like she says something to that extent at least once a week. She says she never thought about being an oncology nurse, but after having done it, she can't imagine doing anything else.
