Thanks, got 4 pairs of sandals for 51 bucks. Would have been less but my Redcard was closed due to inactivity, and they wouldn't give me an immediate reply on reapplying.
I've been wanting a pair of madlove canvas for a while because everyone says they are comfortable, but I refuse to spend the $22.99 for them. Thank you!

It's crazy that they just close your card, especially when it's a hard pull on your credit report to apply. It seems every time I don't use my card for a few months, I get a notice in the mail.

It's possible they sent a notice, but if it was sent bulk rate, I probably just tossed it without looking at it.

Target deals keep popping up and it's easy to buy something or the other that is used day to day for only a few dollars. I'd suggest go for Target Debit card if you think you won't be using too often. Debit cards do not usually get closed out for inactivity. You do lose some purchase protections, but if you bank online and keep enough money, maybe open up a separate free online account and keep a little bit of money in there to fund Target purchases. It doesn't run a hard check I think. Only a chexsystems soft pull. Application process can be more cumbersome because they tend to verify identity pretty seriously since the breach, so I had to call in for ID verification questions, even though they verified the DL and I provided SSN at the store where I applied.

How long were you inactive?? I'm frequently away for months at a time...do I need to worry about this?

From my understanding it's 1-year of inactivity. They should send you an email like 30 days before they inactivate it. This happened to be in the past and I just went and bought a $1.00 item to keep it active.
Anyone receive their orders mine were scheduled tomorrow I called Ups my choice customer care because I've never seen this and shows shipper stated that I didn't orders and asked not to be delivered. Which I am a red card customer as well never has this happen I tried charging with target the customer care said they were too busy with call then I called in and the custom care said extremely high cAll volume —-very weird
