For those with Citi ThankYou Points, you may be able to redeem them for 10% off on select gift cards.
This may be YMMV because I'm not sure if all members receive the same gift card options.
On my DoubleCash card, I have:

That's what I recall, yes. I felt stupid last year for buying GCs on Black Friday for 15% off.

are you talking about GC's for thank you points, correct? So wait till BF or that Monday? do they include all the Gc's on those days or only certain ones? I need Best Buy..

Yup, they usually give 15% on BF then 20% on cyber monday, solely miss the Reward+ card which gives you 10% back when redeem TYP.
Used to be a great way to stockpile Apple GC

Does the selection of which cards qualify for 20% change from what's on sale now?

It hasn't been the same, but apple has been included the last two years. There have been no deals on any lowes/happy cards though beyond the 10% in years.
