The 4 month Sirius XM subscription freebie on my 2018 car expired several weeks ago. I was waiting for a "We want you back" offer. It came in the mail two weeks ago with the standard $30 for 6 months deal for the Select package. I phoned May 25th, and said that I would only consider doubling up to $60 for one full year, knowing that I hadn't read of anyone getting that price for the last several months.I spoke to a person, obviously in North America, who said sure, that was a special now available. I told her that I needed to do some credit card juggling and call back.
I created a single-use 'burner' credit card at Privacy.com, called again and confirmed (with another agent in North America) that the $60 for one year Select deal was available. I placed my order and the radio is again working. I have my calendar set to notify me a few days before the year is over so that I can call the Sirius Cancellation or Retention Department. Of course they have no way to charge the single-use card, a year from now at their outrageous "then current" rates.
I just did the same deal on my 2011 car a few minutes ago with a representative who sounded like he is in North America. That's after trying yesterday and being told by someone, sounding like she was in Asia, who told me the one year deal was not available.
The second deal was also with a "burner" Privacy.com credit card number that will not work a year from now when Sirius tries to charge at "then current" pricing.
The person to whom I phoned my order today, said that the deal is good for orders placed through June 30th.
I usually get the 5 for $25 or 6 for $30 deal. Don't waste my time with a burner card especially if I'm putting it in my calendar. Also I always get another deal so want to use that card again.
I have a trial expiring in a month on a new car. Was offered $30 for 6 months of select or $50 for 6 months of all access. But will try to get the $60 for 12 months.
Been doing either 5 or 6 months for $30 for over 5 years now.
I finally managed to get the same deal for streaming as for the car. Since I am not commuting hours a day anymore, I don't use the car radio as much. So they gave me streaming for a total of just under $39 including taxes and fees, for six months, after which it renews at regular price. They also told me, just like the car promo rates, I could call back and renew the promo close to its expiration.
same here I got 6 months for $30 plus taxes for my car and internet. In December they will have a new deal. you can cancel at any time and get the remaining money or put it on a different deal.
Weird. I have never been offered this. $99 for a year, $25 for 5 months, $30 for 6 months. In fact I just called a few days ago to get the $30 for 6 months renewed.

Same here, for like the last five years, every five or six months I've renewed using Classic (or is it called Select? on the five or six month option as noted above.
I only pay by check, and I always have them waive the $2 paper invoice/processing fee.
Got the letter in the mail today for this same deal direct from SiriusXM. They add on a sizeable Music Royalty fee (which they should pay instead of passing on to customers) which turns a good deal into a bad one. Tried to call on the phone and they refuse to waive it. Promptly logged into my account and changed my communication preferences to ensure they never call, text, email, or snail mail me again.

What's the difference if they line item the fee so you see it, or hide it buy raising the price? There's no free lunch, in the end the customer pays it one way or another... it's not like SXM keeps it, it's a COGS they have to pay their providers.

They didn't use to charge they royalty fee. I subscribed to the service for many years previously and cancelled in 2016. I never saw the fee until I went to deactivate with this offer.

If you have a better way to get a fair price from Sirius XM, will you share it please?
