Just saw this tonight in store as a Fathers Day Special. This includes one 4ah Battery, String Trimmer, and Blower.

There is no product currently on the website that matches this set.

This was previously a frontpage deal at $239.

It was nationwide last time if you click on the previous deal link. if you give me your location I can call all the stores around you if that makes you happy. This site has turned into a Joke lately I don't know why I try and post anything.

Have the string trimmer, great replacement for the cheaper gas powered ones nowadays. Battery lasts through several uses and the higher Ah batteries include a battery gauge that the cheaper ones don't.

I have also had a bad experience with the dewalt trimmer. Same issue as others have mentioned, worked fine when I first got it, for ~ a couple months, then turn it on and no power. Made sure the battery had a full charge and still no improvement. Didn't purchase dw blower, so I can't comment as to its performance.

I read online the $#!+ Dewalt was giving people about repairing/replacing, and decided I already have enough bull$#!+ in life to deal with, and stuck it in the back of the shed for a year bc I couldn't bring myself to pitch ~$200.

But this past weekend I pulled it out of the shed, drove to the landfill/recycling center and pitched it in the scrap metal pile.

So Dewalt got what they wanted, give the purchasers enough $#!+ when their tools fail, and we'll only have to fix a few, deny all the others, and eventually people won't even bother to call us to try to get us to repair the tool, they'll just throw it on the scrap heap.

I know this is a long post, but I wanted to attempt to convey, exactly how bitter that ~$200 pill was to swallow, so others might avoid the same bitterness/frustration.

I was hesitant to give cordless lawn tools another chance, but Milwaukee m18 trimmer was/is getting rave reviews. So I convinced the wife to let me spend another $300 (try explaining that to your wife when she says 'But I thought you already bought one if those) and bought a Milwaukee trimmer/blower combo kit with a 9Ah battery and couldn't be more thrilled. We have 1/2 acre and I can trim and use blower to clear off sidewalks etc and still have battery remaining.
HTH someone

Might want to add YMMV to title.
It's not a clearance item it's a father day special that should be at all Home Depot's. They just put the display out.

I bought this for $180 back in early fall last year. Blower rocks, didn't ever try the string trimmer.

I honestly think this is a better alternative than many 40v lawn power tools.

I agree the blower rocks. I keep it by the door to blow off the porch. Much easier than corded or gas. Plus I've got about $2K of other 20V max Smilie

That info would be helpful in the post, because the link you provided was no where near your price.
If you click the picture it's right on the price Smilie

Which is exactly why it appears this is YMMV.

Anybody have any opinion on this vs greenworks? I bought the 80v Trimmer (attachment capable) and blower, and 2 2ah batteries for about 300.

Relax man, I'm not personally insulting you. I'm just calling out the fact that the link does not match your stated price. The only thing that confirms your stated price is a hand written sign showing $199 in a picture that you presumably took. I mean no disrespect, it just does not appear to be nationwide unless it's on their website.I
It's not on their website yet because Home Depot Father's Day Ad deals start tomorrow, it will be nationwide in-stores. Hopefully it will be online as well.
