Got one on ebay last month. Started my dead battery with ease. Quicker than my $150 Jump-n-Carry (JNCAIR)

Note that this is for a 1200A unit (not for a POS 800A)

i've been testing the capacity of this 1200Amp peak jump starter which is described as 20.8 Amp hours capacity. I measured 7.9Amp hours at 5volts 0.5Amps for almost 16 hours. second test 10.25Ah. Third test 9.193 Amp hours which took 14.75 hours (.62 amps)


For perspective, another jump starter described as 82.8 Amp hours has measured in three tests 5.1Ah, 7.0Ah, 7.6Ah at 5volts and 0.5 - 0.66Amps output.

Not too familiar with this brand. looks like the older smaller capacity one from aickar has decent reviews...

I bought the Aickar 800A peak version a couple months ago. It has had no problems starting my 4.0L V6 Ford Ranger a couple times when the battery died. Hugely recommend this brand. I'm gonna pickup this 1200A peak version too.

The fact that the listing contradicts itself makes me question if this item is of real quality. It said can jump up to 6.0L diesel engine while in the details said up to 4.5L diesel engine. I've been looking to buy a good quality and durable jumper for my Ford f250 in case I need it, if this can do it then I really would like to get it. Otherwise it will just be a really expensive paper weight
