Walmart B&M Stores right now have the Boost Mobile Moto E5 Play for $59. Includes Sprint SIM card pre-installed and may work on the Sprint Network if the Walmart store will sell it to you without activating in store...others are saying it will work on Sprint BYOD deal even if the Walmart employee activated the Boost phone in the store. Walmart stores also have the Boost Mobile Moto G6 Play (bigger screen, finger print scanner, huge battery, etc) for $79 or less.

On the Sprint BYOD free plan, does anyone have experience with the Boost E5 play domestic or international roaming? The specs say the device should have bands that support T-Mobile, AT&T and international carriers, but I am wondering if the Boost version has locked out support for those bands.

Has anyone rooted their G6 Play? I want to install Titanium Backup and uninstall some of the bloat, but it requires root. What are the downsides of rooting?

I saw this phone at bestbuy, not on sale or clearance but still at $49.99. So if walmart is out of them check bestbuy.

Oh well. I didn't realize I'd have to wipe the phone just to root it. I already have too much time getting it set up they way I want it to have to wipe it. All I want to do is be able to delete some of the apps that it won't let me delete.

I placed an order online on boostmobile.com last night and this morning i see a cancellation email form them. They mentioned they cancelled the order and i should purchase this device in store. Anyone else face this issue?

I placed another order on boost website and they cancelled the order too. Could it be the proximity of the store location from my residence? Or because i am using a business CC? Any thoughts or suggestions from the experts?
