This was on sale for similar price last week at Amazon. Might end up picking this up if Best BuY has it and will price match.

Not great for Home Theater I've read... Inaccurate colors and loud were some of the reviews...

Waiting for the HT models to come down in price. Just picked up a hd143x (1080p pretty great picture though and 3000 lumens for day time viewing) and then holding out for probably two years for the HDR and 4k (faux 4k really) projectors to improve

Not a good idea anyway. Best Buy has a 15% restocking fee on projectors. If you want a store without restocking fees in case you're not satisfied with this model and one that price matches, Office Depot might actually be your best bet.

You would be correct, this is more geared toward conference rooms instead of home theaters because of its color wheel. The 727 is the better option if you want home theater use.

I also am passing on 4k for now, got a 3100 and its amazing on 1080p sources and 3D.

Really at 10-15ft away (most of my seating) 1080p at 100 in should look great still and the seats right at 10 ft and centered on picture and surround sound should be amazingly immersive. Any larger picture at that distance and you have to move your head to see it I tested with dots on the wall lol. Will find out tomorrow when it's delivered!

I bought this last sale and like it. I spent 3k on my last projector because people scared me with the whole color wheel thing. I notice no difference.

And it seems pretty good for gaming. Lowest ms of 4K projectors at this price point. Colors are weird with the bright setting, but look great with the user1 and user2 settings.

The 143X is a pretty good projector I am sure you will be happy with it. The 3100/3700 are on the upper echlon for home theater projectors so the 1080 picture can actually get better but with just about anything, you want better you have to pay more for it.

Do they price adjust, if it's only been a month since I purchased it?
Just in case the PX727-4k goes on sale, in the next few weeks.
If not, does Amex price adjust, and what if it is like $200 cheaper somewhere, is there a restocking fee?
I know there was no tax, living outside of NewYork/Jersey.
