i would wait a few days. the coupon is good until july 13th, so it's best to wait until urlhasbeenblocked has another 10 or 15% back promo. i got 2 of these for $125 a pop before by stacking a coupon and cashback. flipped one on fleabay for a $30 profit, kept the other. basically got a 1TB SD for $95

EDIT: there are several cashback websites giving 4% back at urlhasbeenblocked right now
Prime day sucks for computer parts usually. Hopefully not this year.
So tempting, but even more tempting to see how much further SSDs will fall...

If I was going to switch out the hard drive in my laptop, is there an easy way to transfer the disk contents from one to the other? I am mainly concerned with the operating system as I know how to manually transfer documents. Thanks!

Personally, I'd just recommend a fresh install of the operating system. You will probably need to burn an install disk or make an installation USB. When it asks for a Windows key, select "I don't have one", and it should find the key in your bios...

Of course, do all this after backing up your important documents

Yeah if you need to ask it probably is best to do it via a file backup and copying it over to a fresh install. Breaking and fixing UEFI isn't a fun endeavour.
