About half a year ago Harbor Freight recalled their trailer tires and stopped selling all their trailers.
There are practically no trailers that come anywhere close to even the full price of the Harbor Freight trailers anywhere I looked.
I've even seen old Harbor Freight trailers on Craigslist selling for the full retail price during this period.
I ended up getting a different smaller trailer on Craigslist that I had to completely rebuild for about the price of these a few months ago.
Coupons for these trailers may be coming eventually.
Northern Tool also had a folding trailer that was taken off the shelf that has returned. They may have had more that I just didn't notice.
1090 lbs. Capacity 40-1/2 in x 48 in Utility Trailer [harborfreight.com] - $290
1195 lbs. Capacity 48 in. x 96 in. Heavy Duty Folding Trailer [harborfreight.com] - $350
1720 lbs. Capacity 48 in. x 96 in. Super Duty Folding Trailer [harborfreight.com] - $450
Ironton 4ft. x 8ft. Folding Utility Trailer Kit — 1170-Lb. Load Capacity [northerntool.com] - $450
(Slickdeals only let me select the images of the Northern Tool trailer for the post)

I dont see why the cheapest one one work. I checked the site, but didnt see any speed ratings for these. Anyone know?
Edit: Found it in the manual, says do not exceed 45mph for the smaller one.
I did have problems finding bearings to fit my older HF trailer from 2007.
Lol, because everything you listed other then lowballing happens all the time there...
Sold so much stuff on CL (over 100 things), never once met anyone even kinda shady.
Does it happen? Sure, extremely rarely. People get mugged and assulted walking down streets too. Nobodies going to want to jump through all the necessary hoops to cover their digital tracks when they contact you on CL so they dont get caught when they rob you of whatever random item you had for sale. Way easier to just mug some random person on the street, they probably have more cash on them then your item was worth and they don't even have to bother selling it. Then the few people who are stupid enough not to cover their tracks just get caught relatively easily.
Maybe if your selling a really expensive item (couple hundred dollar+ cell phone), a criminal might find jumping through the hoops worth it or you might be targetted by one of the dumb ones. But then, just take a precaution or two, meet in a public place and you're fine.
To get around that, it is possible to have a friend in another state like OH or VA with less stringent DOT rules register the trailer with the Chinese title. Then you just transfer it into your name in the police state.... er, in Pennsylvania.
Absolutely no need to go to the state police. All you need is a certificate of origin which it should come with. Go to your local notary or tag service and they will inspect it there and issue a title. Now if they don't have a certificate of origin then it will be more difficult but there still is no reason to go to psp.

Do people even use that CL site anymore? I see Fb and it's scam marketplace getting traction.
Yeah I noticed too. Is the copycat FB and it's marketplace stealing their action. I mean FB just copied and steals everything.
I guess facebook marketplace and Letgo are immune to that kind of stuff. I've said it a dozen times now that I'd take ANY CL inconvenience if I didn't have to deal with the horrible interfaces at FB and Letgo.
And I'm not sure what a "few extra bucks" are to you, but I've transacted tens of thousands of dollars via CL over the years and have had zero problems, apart from lowball offers and no-shows.
Me too. I'm a fan of CL. I've traded a ton of stuff there. If people use FB marketplace, now FB will even know what you buy and own. That's surveillance that the NSA can't even get in their wet dreams.

I've sold 10's of thousands of dollars worth on CL and never had an issue.
But I'm not a victim by nature so that helps.
(I'm a sheepdog and not one of the sheep... some here will understand that)
To those NOT in the know, that means he has no problem popping a cap in someone's rear end to protect himself and his family.
Molon Labe!
Had two of these that got utilized for other purolposes, and I needed replacement utility trailer, then they became hard to procure...
The northern trailer is exactly the same item? But black? Kind of prefer black, but would t mind a lower price if it's possible to get the HF one on a decent discount.
No HDMI and yes you need a time machine.
Just FYI.
