On the i7? Are you sure about that? It's been showing out of stock since Microsoft sent out an email early this morning. If you refresh the page with the i7 selected, it briefly flashes as "in-stock" but that's probably for the i5 until it redirects to the selected i7. There's likely not many available in-store either after they did the $300 gift card deal which worked out to the same price after gift card. This would have been a better deal because you don't get stuck with a GC but I don't see it coming in and out of stock during the day.
Since when? I've had nothing but good experiences with their phones and smart watches. Is there something they're doing wrong with laptops?
It's not a quality control issue. These are incredibly highly rated laptops. It's a national security issue. ZTE and Huawei were both found to be back channeling user data to the Chinese government
Any chance to stack w/ other discounts (e.g., .edu) - looks like they took out the button that's normally there, probably b/c on "sale"?
Nah, pretty sure they explicitly state somewhere that the student discount doesn't combo with anything else. Also, I haven't seen them both at once myself, and I've been shopping around a fair bit lately.

I swear I thought I checked their website this morning to see what their stock and price was, somehow missed this one. Been waiting for this one in i7. I'll keep checking. Missed out on the last sale when everywhere went out of stock.
