How can you tell if it's Killer or Intel?

Based on my reading, if it's equipped with an 8650U it's a small business or enterprise setup. The differences are the CPU, the WIFI card and it has intel VPro (don't know how useful that is) integrated.

EDIT if you get it in your cart and look at the full specs you should see this as a line (8265 is the intel card) "Service Install Module,Network,8265,Extreme Performance System"

I'm also noticing that this setup is FHD WITH touch. Typically the 4k is the only touch display available.

Yeah, that's a very tempting config. $1100 gets you 8650U/16GB/512GB/IntelLan with 1080p touch display. I would gladly trade 4K display for a 1080p touch model with twice the battery life. The only downside is I wish this had Win10Pro for full disk bitlocker encryption.

Sigh, I do not really need this, my old laptop is still kicking, but man do I want it.

Can you chat with Dell and get an additional discount on top of the coupon code?

I think mine will come with Pro. Keep looking, i think some of them do. Their spec list is odd and it's hard to tell once you've ordered.

Some do come with win 10 pro.

I'm so tempted. Can't decide if I want longer battery life vs higher display resolution. I do like pretty pictures.

When I bought the xps 13 9350, I ordered both the 1080p and 4k versions and tested them side by side. Reviewers will tell you that the 1080p is a nice display, but I far preferred the 4k. With cell phone displays having "retina" pixel density, I've gotten so spoiled and used to NOT seeing individual pixels. I personally could not go back to a 1080p display, even at this screen size.

Thanks for the response. I'll hold out for a 4K model.

I just bought one during the summer Black Friday sale but this is a much better price. Any real difference in battery life between the touch and non touch 1080p screens? What about weight?

I don't care about touch at all. Honestly think it's worthless by making screen dirty, but price difference is real so curious if any downsides.
