When it comes to golf clubs it's more about what fits your game and produces the best results that determines if something is an "upgrade" from your current equipment.
That being said the JPX would absolutely be considered a 'premium tier' while the Jetspeed is more of a basic, entry level line. The Taylormade equivalent of a JPX would more be M3/M4.
At this price it's nothing short of an incredible deal and something you could easily trade in for as much, if not more, than the initial purchase price.
