Now I'm hoping this will help be track down a wire break in my rear view camera on my truck.

I'll sell you a yellow and grey one for $999. Just tell me which parts you want yellow and which parts you want grey.
Yep, from the website
"▲WIRE TRACKER - It can trace not only Ethernet LAN wires, but also electrical and speaker wires when connecting to the alligator clip. In this situation, the wires must be in power-off status, otherwise the units will be damaged. It is recommended to stripe down some of the wires when connecting through the clip. Select "SCAN". Emitter works properly if the "SCAN" indicator is on. Use the receiver to find target wires"
This is the reason I'm getting it. I work in IT and have always wanted a cat wire tracer, but really never needed on. I do however want/need something to trace outlets to circuits to map a houses circuit breakers. So, this might come in handy there and give me the cat-wire tester as a added bonus. The downside is the wire needs to be powered down to use, so you can't map them without interrupting power.
