Ironically, I got it right after two incidents where I really needed one but since then I haven't "needed" it. I'd definitely recommend getting one as having the right evidence in case of an accident (i.e. a guy hit me running a red) can save you a lot of cash.

Even though I haven't "needed" it since I've had it, the piece of mind alone is worth what I paid for it.

I'm gonna let this thread get back to the memory card discussion now laugh out loud

$34 for the 128GB is everyday price....
Samsung is coming out with A 512 micro SD they announced it at Unpacked. I would expect the prices for the 128 gig To plummet

The 128GB? Don't remember it ever being anywhere near $13. I paid about $10 more than the price in this OP and it's been going strong in my dash cam for a while. It was a good price at $10 more and certainly at this price.

TU from me.

Complete side question but do you leave your dash cam in the car? I have hesitated on getting one for a while assuming it wasnt something you could just leave in the car because of the heat or cold. Setting it up each time would be a drag in Im being honest...

I've always left mine in the car (live on the East Coast). Doesn't mean it's the right thing to do, but I've never had any issues other than the suction mount needing to be re-attached in extreme temperatures. People also recommend the high endurance cards which I haven't used either and (knock on wood) haven't had issues with the card either.

I just got a Vantrue N1 Pro, I like it. I never had an accident but I like having "peace of mind" knowing. I only have an 8GB card in there, videos are about 110MB per minute s you'll have PLENTY of space if you don't want to grab a big card.

I just bought the 256gb model and it works great. It wasn't on sale but I still recommended getting it. 9,000+ reviews. So now my phone has 320gb of storage and I'm super happy with my decision. Also if you are a person who has the phone with only 8gb or 16gb of internal storage this 256gb is a big leap forward.
