There are many similar quality monitors for less as well.
The link is for the TN version, but the one op posted is for the IPS version.
Ah I see. One letter off in the sub model #. All the ones I'm seeing between $440-500 are TN.

Thanks for the heads up, that's interesting. Odd that they dropped G-Sync 1440p, and assigned Freesync to all of the monitors with that resolution (Nitro VX2 is 8-bit, Nitro VG2 is 10-bit). Looks like it will be $1,200 MSRP though (Predator XB3, it is 4k which is a boost over this resolution, you'll need a lot of power to drive those high refresh rates at 4k): https://www.pcworld.com/article/3...s-ifa.html
I bought mine for $600 from B&H about 3 months ago and have been happy with it. It's definitely not as colorful and sharp as my previous iMac 5K Retina display, but I knew that when I made the switch. Those updates ought to bring the 10 bit quality over for those willing to pay. I've really been enjoying the 144Hz setting and leave it on for games and Windows desktop as the smoothness of scrolling and such is fantastic. You can check that you properly turned it on by going into the display's menus and enabling on screen display refresh rate, and you need to change it in your settings: https://m.windowscentra
Also, I'd recommend playing with your settings in games. In the Witcher 3, for instance, you need to disable the frames per second cap by setting it to Maximum, and turn off V-Sync. You might also like the look of the game with motion blur and those sorts of settings turned off as they will obscure some of the smoothness that your monitor is capable of. It's really nice.
Make sure you all try the settings created by Zerocool23 over here (it's post #1563): https://www.overclock.n

Will Chris Hansen show up at my house asking me to take a seat?
