I guess I should've said in the next couple of weeks. I've been waiting about a month since I moved for this to really drop in price. Can't really wait until BF, but will bite at < $2199 in the next 2 weeks. Even this deal seems enticing at the moment.

A waste? The OLED blacks and HDR colors are certainly noticeable at that distance. If you're talking about resolution, maybe it's placebo, but I notice 4K vs 1080p at 15 feet on my 65 OLED.
